Michael Jackson’s death was so unexpected and I think that’s why it’s been so hard for anyone to accept that a wonderful treasure is now forever gone. We were blessed to have an angel like him on this Earth for as long as we did. Thank you Michael for your generous and memorable contributions to the human race (my 3 yr old is already trying to moonwalk!). Thank you for having such a big heart and for being a shining example of what it means to turn the other cheek. No matter how hard people may have tried, they never broke your spirit and I really admired that about you. To his children (if they ever read this) I would just like to say that despite the negative remarks people may make, what matters more than anything is what you remember him for. Anyone with a heart can see what an innocent and loving person he really was. I will NEVER forget the one, the only…Michael Jackson. He will always be imitated, but never duplicated. People are always going to think whatever they want, but I choose to remember Michael Jackson as the gentle soul with a big heart that I know deep down he was. This world can be so cruel and I can only hope he is in a better place now. He will forever be remembered and sorely missed. He truly is one of kind and could never be replaced. Thank you Michael for sharing your talent with us! May God bless and take care of his family and children. May he rest in peace. Love you Michael!

I can not believe how some can be so ignorant towards the things that Micheal Jackson has done for us as a people. We will never ever get such a honorable, precious, talented and loved person in our lives. This man deserves, No This King deserves all the respect, honor and love in this world because he is not only the King of Pop , He is the King of Humanity. So say what you will but ask yourselves this, have you done anything as remotely as this King has done.
My family and i love you so much, Micheal you will always be in our hearts.

I attempted to watch the memorial live on VH1 then MTV. However, both channels kept dropping the audio. So I switched to CNN. You would think two channels all about listening to the music could hire a competent audio staff! This was a historic event.

Michael Jackson was such a great icon. He will always be remembered! I couldn’t stop crying over his death! it was so unexpected. this one man broke down walls of racism, and all kind of other things that separated violence from the earth! just imangine just one man doing that! he deservered way more credit then people gave him! how much abuse can one person take! i always was and still am a Michael Jackson fan becuz of my mom! all she talked about was him! she showed every song of his to me! right now im 13 years old and i started to realize that back in the days Michael was a big deal! i send my prayers out to the jackson family! May Michael Joseph Jackson rest in peace!

The pain and loss of a great human being is too strong to express the Jackson family: I had my daughter send this message for me Ms. D.Robinson
It hurts me to see his family in so much pain. I can’t express enough how my heart goes out to them. We lose people everyday, so when it comes down to a king that lets us know that we have to try to continue to be there for one another. Words will NEVER explain a true remorse(tears of sorrow) ~I LOVE YOU MICHEAL~

They say he’s gone…
but I can still hear his voice in the air
His message of freedom, hope, and love riding the wind
that blows gently through my hair.
Springing melodies without compare,
over decades and shades of brilliance
His mere existence breathing love and healing
for the world to share.
More than a trendsetter…
More than amazing voice…
More than the lyrics he spun
to remind us that the way we live was our choice.
More than his groundbreaking hits
that I must admit, would suddenly cause my body to throw fits,
dropping to half splits, spinning twisters
while thrusting hips and standing on toes,
screaming, “who’s bad?”
like everyone should know….
That he and I are connected…
Though I had never touched his face
Or shook his hand,
Or shared a dance in the same space,
Or had really gotten to know the man….
…who taught me that in the mirror is where healing begins…
…who used his talent to make me feel more than a fan…
…And more than Black…
…And more than able to achieve greatness
…despite the world’s attacks…
So rest on, Dear Michael, for you deserve the peace
Rest on, for I know you’re not gone…
I can hear your voice in the wind pushing me to ascend,
encouraging me to be strong.
So Rest on,
Rest…
My dear Michael…
Finally, you can rest.

This goes for all those people who called themselves christians or church goers and the ones who took advantage of his situation and who were so prompt to judge an exceptional human being without knowing the pain, sorrow he was carrying in his heart. For not allowing themselves to get to know this man through his songs, his interviews, and feel his pain and his loneliness. I feel sorry for ALL of YOU, who think you are a good christian or a good person, you are so dead wrong. You missed a great opportunity to get close, to help and guide somebody on the right direction SHAME on you. May GOD forgive you, WHO already has on his arms the ANGEL HE produced for our delight and the happiness of his family.

its time to stop the media, star magazine, tabloids.paparazzi with these rumors and lies. We need to stop feeding into them cause all they do is hurt people and kill them. Like princess Diana rest her soul, they kill her for a picture. They are a bunch of soul sucking leeches out 4 a buck 2. It take Mj death for me to see what they truly are.
