Grief-stricken Michael Jackson fans all over the globe are releasing their emotions through tears, vigils, and perhaps most appropriately, dancing. While many reacted to the shocking news with weeping and prayers, others took to the streets, blasting his music and showcasing what Jackson taught them.
Memorials were not limited to UCLA Medical Center, the Apollo Theater, and his childhood home in Gary, Indiana. Fans in Hong Kong lit candles and Bulgarians brought roses to their respective spontaneous gatherings. Londoners created a memorial outside the Lyric Theatre, where “Thriller Live” has been showing. In Paris, a ceremony is planned for tonight at Notre Dame Cathedral and there will be a memorial moonwalk at the Eiffel Tower on Sunday. Prisoners in the Phillipines made famous by their choreographed “Thriller” video are planning a tribute performance.

I am saddened by micheal’s passing away. I just wanna cry for him. I think he felt so alone inside. I wrote this for him. {Alone is not just by yourself, Alone is inside, it’s when you feel like no one cares and when you want to die. You feel the pressure in your head, a emptiness in your heart, you just wanna be like everyone else, but the world seems to set you apart. We are all gonna miss MJ. I was so excited to hear any new music that he would come out with. Every song he ever sang was a hit, It’s so sad to hear about his life, the way he grew up. It was’nt normal and he was’nt either. I think part of himself died when he was first was accused of molesting little boys. Only the little boys that accused him know the truth. Michael Jackson was one of the most talented and gifted entertainers that exsisted. I just pray that at some point in his life he truly found peace and was happy. It seems to sad that he spent his life making other people happy and he, himself was not and quite lonely . RIP Mr. Jackson, you meant so much to so many people, you will never be forgotten. I believe the quality of life outweighs the quantity, and you truly gave so much to help so many people all over the world and as well as paving the way for other entertainers. That says a lot!!! I grew up listening to his music and fell in love with him…he will always be in my heart. and a part of me went with him…i will miss him very much…and my heart is broken because i feel like i lost a family member. when i was little my mother would tell me that i knew more about Michael then he did. and i can remember dancing to all of his songs..and almost getting the words right….

During all the coverage about our King of POP M.J. I have not heard about the song I believe is called Ebony & Ivory a duet with M.J. and one of the Beetles Paul M. that I have been honored to listen to only twice in my lifetime. As I remember it’s a wonderful song with the most beautiful lyrics that has not been apart of this sad but historical dedication to Michael.

I loved Michael for at least 35 years, I was 4 mons pregnant when I seen him in concert., his BAD tour. No matter what he did or didn’t do, he was awesome. Nobody can deny the talent he had. The world has lost a wonderful talent with a gentle, kind soul. I can not believe he is gone, and that they will see no more of his work. I can’t stop crying. But he is now at peace. Michael Jackson was and will always be a great person. He was so kind and caring. I was stunned when i heard of his death. I didnt want to believe it for a week but soon after a wave of saddness and a gush of tear came over me. Wow. He truely was an amazing person with so much talent. His music , dancing skills, and displays of humanitarianism are unmatched by any other person on this planet.
