As the world comes to terms with the shocking news of Michael Jackson‘s death, the finger-pointing has already started. The Jackson family lawyer Brian Oxman blames “enablers” surrounding the pop superstar for pushing him too hard in preparation for his comeback concert dates at London’s O2 Arena.
“This was something which I feared and something which I warned about. This is a case of abuse of medication, unless there is another cause that I don’t know about. This family has been trying for months and months and months to take care of Michael Jackson. The people surrounding him have been enabling him. If you think the case of Anna Nicole Smith was abuse then that is nothing in comparison to what we have been seeing in Michael Jackson’s life. Where there is smoke there is fire,” he said.
Jacko was due to commence the concerts on July 13. The thousands of fans who bought tickets through official sellers are thought to be entitled to a full refund. [Photo: WENN]

Who not what killed MJ? The bullies in the worldwide press who hounded him for years while giving passes to others…the late night comedians who destroyed his fanbase with their insults and innuendoes…the gullible public that believes everything it sees and hears and passes judgment without knowing personal truth…Just watch the video and listen to the words of Stranger in Moscow…a hauntingly beautiful song that shows you that Michael Jackson walked this earth with a shattered heart long before it gave out. May he finally rest in peace, and may the younger generation through his death come to know of his genius and his greatness through the music which has been noticeably absent from American airways for almost a decade. Rest in peace, MJ…there will never be another like you.
Let us all hope and pray Michael has found the peace and joy that eluded him in life.
I have nothing but good memories of Michael but contempt for those who pushed him to this point. He was a very talented dreamer who saw a world filled with love and happiness. Some might say he believed in Peter Pan. But for anybody who believes in anything, that sounds a lot like Heaven to me! He loved children and for those who sent them to Neverland just to bring back sacks of money you must not believe in Heaven. How about hell? Enjoy it… the devil will get his due. If Michael “touched” any kid, I’m sure it was in a playful way as when tickling a young nephew while they’re rolling around kicking and laughing. The boy who described Michael’s “body parts” or said MJ gave him wine – what a joke@&! To MJ, it was just a big slumber party! He simply didn’t have the right people for guidance and he worked himself to death trying to please everybody the one place he KNEW he could – on the stage! Nothing but love MJ! Heaven and hell!!
The world is a lonlier place now without Michael Jackson. It is still hard to believe that he’s actually gone! Over the weekend, we watched all of his videos on VH1 and enjoyed them so much!! One of my favorite is the one taped in Brazil, I don’t remember the name. He was such a striking man and talented beyond belief! His life was not nearly long enough!!
Who do I think is at fault?? We’re all responsible for our own actions, but it seems that with his huge family and tons of people who claimed to be his ‘friend’ that SOMEONE could have shown him “TOUGH LOVE” and placed him in rehab of some sort!! Too many people just placated him. If you’re addicted to drugs, you can’t stop on your own – you need someone with a clear head to help you get the help you need! Too bad he didn’t have anyone who wasn’t afraid of him…someone who would’ve dragged him for treatment and followed through with him – he just had too much to offer the world with his talent and ideas to waste in the way this turned out.
SOMEONE could have helped the man!

I AM ANGRY WHERE WAS THE ONE THAT HAD HIS BACK, WHO WAS REALLY LOOKING OUT FOR HIM. WELL IT SEEMS NO ONE AND YET ALL THESE PEOPLE APPEAR NOW WHERE WERE THEY? HIS SHOWS WERE ABOUT PERFECTION GIVING THE FANS SOMETHING TO REMEMBER ‘HOLLYWOOD, MUSIC INDUSTRY’ GIVE HIM THE SAME NOT SOMETHING HALF DONE. REPORTERS DIDN’T RESPECT HIM WHILE HE WAS ALIVE CAN YOU SHOW HIM SOME NOW HE WAS A BROTHER, SON, AND FATHER.
When I came home friday, turned on the telly, it was already on CNN. The bottom ticker read something about Michael and I sat there stunned for about an hour. When they showed his body in a white sheet taken from the house on a stretcher thats when this loud, awful scream came out of me. From then on I have been crying. It was the same thing when Princess Diana died. I went into shock. I had a crush on Michael when I was 9, and used to buy Right On! magazine routinely, I still have all of them. I was a member of the Jackson Five club. My family teased me and said we’ll move to California and meet him and I was horrified. We did move to San Jose but I only saw him in concert. He will be missed. I think pressure killed him, and being misunderstood and misused by just about everyone. His essence was too good for this world. I am glad his pain is over, we will just no longer have the benefit of his ongoing genius.
