Awk! Ward! The New York Daily News is reporting that 23-year-old Deanna Hummel (pictured at left), the woman that Jon Gosselin has been seen with and is allegedly dating, will have a role in the next season of Jon & Kate Plus Eight.
The paper’s source says “Deanna’s role isn’t expected to be big, but because she’s part of Jon’s life, she’ll be filmed.” We think it would be nice if the show could examine life after divorce in a healthy way but, um, if this rumor is true we’re thinking “too soon.” As much as we think Kate Gosselin can be a control freak, that would be pretty harsh, TLC.
Unless … maybe they will make Deanna live in one of the Crooked Houses the kids received in this week’s episode! That would be fun. Following the announcement of the Gosselin’s divorce, the show is on hiatus until August 3. [Photo: Splash News Online]

Aren’t they canceling the show? It would make no sense for Jon to bring his mistress in. This is BS.
I love how the divorce papers (which TMZ has, of course) cite irretrievable breakdown. Is that the marriage, or just Kate?
