The Most Underreported Story Of The Day

Forget Perez Hilton’s black eye. Hell, forget Iran. Cameron Diaz has skin problems. The FABlife‘s Becky Howard reported this morning that the actress was given her own star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, but our writer mistakenly focused on Tom Cruise‘s sweaty armpits while missing the real story (don’t worry, she’s been punished), which is all about Cameron’s psoriasis — a skin “disease” that does not easily clear up. And can come back at any time!

According to “celebrity skin expert” Vail Reese, a doctor who hands out the annual Skinnies Awards, there is little hope for Cameron’s skin. “After battling acne for years, yet another skin condition to deal with!,” explains the doctor. “She has also suffered with facial pigmentation issues and sun overexposure.” Oh my. Shouldn’t Hollywood be hiding Cameron, not promoting her? We wouldn’t want this condition spreading to other A-listers. Our economy couldn’t handle it. [Photo: WENN]

You’re going to hate on her because she has flaws? Are you perfect?

  • sk says:

You’re an idiot. Psoriasis *is* a chronic skin disease, and one that can be very painful and disruptive. However, it isn’t a communicable disease, so you have no worries about ever catching it from stalking Cameron Diaz.

Heaven forbid celebrities be human! Get a heart and get a clue!

  • mark says:

I have to agree with the above comments – WTF is ‘scandalist’ about a skin condition that is a bugger to treat and certainly not catching??

this is hardly gossip – GFY

  • jose says:

    lol.
she is ugly anyway and she is overrated.
don’t say anything bad about saint cameron because her worshipers are mad.and yes you are perfect and celebrities are not humans they are trolls

  • G. says:

Not that I would consider this “real” journalism, anymore than I would consider Cameron a “real” actress, but you should really consider checking your facts. Psoriasis is a lot of things, but it’s not contagious. Dummy.

  • Taradash says:

how embarassing for Cameron. wouldnt you be mortified if the whole world saw your elbows?

sorry Cameron, this world suck s and is photoshopped to h****

  • Dee Cee says:

Um, looks like ringworm to me, or perhaps she has psorisis

  • smtty5 says:

looks exactly like poison ivy to me.

  • aw! says:

Maybe she could scrp that makeup off her face with a putty knife and put it on her arms to cover it up. She looks like a used Barbie doll.

  • Travis says:

The second ugliest woman in Hollywood behind Maggie Gyllenhaal.

    I don’t care about her elbows, it’s her face that’s a wreck.

  • KV says:

I think that’s keratosis pilaris (KP), not psoriasis. It affects 40-50% of adult population. Check the back of your arms, you might even have it yourself.

  • Adrianna says:

This is psoriasis. It’s not contagious but is found typically in older adults due just to aging but at times is also just genetic. I’ve had this since I was probably 6 or 7 years old because it runs in my family. It is no big deal if you get the right treatment for it and use it regularly. I hate how they make such a big deal out of every little thing about a star that’s “different”. I feel so bad for Cameron, and I can relate. No one can be perfect.

  • Adrianna says:

And another sad thing about psoriasis is that it’s effects aren’t only shown on the outside, on your skin. But it works its way on your joints on the inside too, that’s why the blotches on your skin are normally found on fingers, elbows, knees and toes, the most commonly used joints. It can lead to poor joint health, causing occasional pain, and in bad cases arthritis. I feel so bad that she’s being put down about this.

  • Lex says:

Psoriasis, my foot. That’s the alien implant awakening from dormancy.

  • llaura says:

I don’t know about cameron diaz and her condition but Psoriasis is not contagious! what it is said here as a “joke” is not funny, it is offensive! people should inform better before writing these things.

  • Sprmcandy says:

    Cameron has a cute face.
