Usher has filed for divorce from his wife Tameka Foster after almost two years of marriage. The couple has two children together — 18-month-old Usher V and 6-month-old Naviyd — but that wasn’t enough to keep them together. Sources claim the pair have been leading separate lives for a while now, with rumors dating back to May that a split was on the cards.
Usher and Tameka’s relationship faced troubles early on when it was reported that his mom Jonetta didn’t approve of her son’s girlfriend, who is eight years older than him. The superstar then fired his mom as his manager in 2007 — and a few months later Usher and Tameka called off their first wedding ceremony. So hardly the most surprising split, then. Those poor kids.
It’s truly is sad. Number 1: Age is nothing but a number. His mother should not have disapproved for that reason. That may have set the tone for the down fall of the marriage. This could have happened with someone his own age. Number 2: He was on tv defending his marriage saying that he believed in his marriage and that he’d worked to keep it together. What was so difficult that he decided he couldn’t work through it? It seems that no one, especially the stars, think that it’s necessary to work through tough issues in a marriage. There’s nothing like proving the naysayers right. Yes, it’s sad.

People fail to realize they are people just like us, just because they are stars dont seem to matter. Everyday in everyday life, this happens to anyone. The only reason why it is soo sad, is because it is published for ALL the public to see. The majority of America comes from a broken home, get over it. Also, doesnt help that you have a Mother-in Law, who seems to think the worst of you. With her 2cents in, everytime they have a problem. Sometimes couples are better apart for there children. It’s not healthy for the children to see 2 parents arguing, no matter what the age.
This was doomed from the beginning but I wished them nothing but happiness.
1. Did she not leave her husband and children for him?
2. Right, it doesn’t help when the mom doesn’t like you and for obvious reasons. She still should have supported her son.
3. I think and it’s only my opinion; when she ran off to Brazil and almost died with out telling him after giving birth months before, was the final straw. I have not seen pictures of her and Usher since.
Even the picture above, he doesn’t look happy. I feel for the kids.
HE SHOULD OF LISTENED TO HIS MOTHER , BUT THEN AGAIN HAY HE DOES HAVE SOME THING GOOD OUT OF IT . OR RATHER SAY SOME ONE NO TWO GOOD PEOPLE OUT OF IT HIS SONS. BUT YOU KNOW THE OTHER SIDE OF ME IS SAYING HE SHOULD OF HAD THEM WITH CHILLI.

its very sad for the kids but if they are nt happy then they shouldnt b together. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think you two should work out the problems. You got two kids. you two look good together. Then again usher you just cant keep a girl.
