Get ready to watch Jon & Kate + Legal Drama! The estranged reality TV parents – Jon and Kate Gosselin – are currently being investigated for possibly violating child labor laws in Pennsylvania. Apparently the Pennsylvania Department of Labor received a complaint about the show, and an investigation has been launched.
“We’re not saying that they are not complying with child labor laws. We’re investigating a complaint,” Labor rep Troy Thompson said. “We’re not saying that there was or was not a violation, just that we’re conducting an investigation.”
TLC – the cable network that pays the Gosselins $50,000-$75,000 per episode – insists that it “fully complies” with state laws. [Us. Photo: FilmMagic]

It’s not like the kids are sitting there knitting sweaters for Wal-mart on every episode. Waste of taxpayer money and government time.
Amen, Eve. I’m sure they’re trying to pull some crap about the time the kids spend on camera, which I guess is considered “working” even though they’re just living their lives. This will fall flat.
Ok so if you are not saying that they are not complying with child labor laws.
