Everyone’s favorite American Idol runner-up may come out on the cover of next week’s Rolling Stone. When asked about his sexuality in the past, Adam has only said, “keep speculating.” A source reveals that the gifted and gorgeous crooner “didn’t want it to be an issue during the contest, but he’s fine with his sexuality.” Could this mean we can expect an official statement within the pages of the iconic music rag?
The insider’s claim is backed up by Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, who tells the ladies of The View today, “I don’t think that Adam was ever in [the closet]. I think he was always openly out.”
During the competition, Lambert told People magazine, “You should own who you are and what you’re about, and never make apologies for it.” Amen, Lambert. We love the guy no matter who he bones, and we suspect his fans do too.

I thing it is not cool for him to waite to “come out” until he gets paid to do so on a mag cover. I guess he will do anything for $$$ and fame. His ego is already outa control, dissing Gene Simmons and such.
Did you really call him “gorgeous”? That was the best use of sarcasm I’ve seen in a long time.
Why is this such an issue with so many people. Can’t he just be a really talented entertainer without having to be “The Gay Idol Guy”. Maybe it’s not about money, well maybe it’s about just finally having the opportunity to be himself. Was he supposed to go to the audition and say…”I’m gay, just to let you know”? You try being on TV and in the spotlight for months wanting only to be judged on your singing/artistic quality and all anyone can talk about is “the gay one” and “the Christian”… The show is entertaining without the gossip. Just enjoy the talent. He has a bright future ahead as long as he continues to make smart choices.

I don’t care who or what Adam does, he has more talent in his little pinkie than most of the contestants combined. I saw Gene Simmons and he is the one who dissed Adam, and sorry I have never bought anything by Kiss in my life. Adam can sing rings around them. I have never seen Adam be outright rude to anyone. Although he was virtually ignored by some of the AI finalists, Christians showing their true hypocrisy ( and I don’t mean Kris).I can not wait to purchase music by Adam and see him perform. Mick Jagger isn’t gay and never was. David Bowie used to be bisexual, but he’s straight now. If you wanted good examples of gay musicians use Elton John and Freddie Mercury, two of the bet singers of all time.

It does not matter to me what his sexuality is.. He is a awesome singer and I was really sad he did not win, but I know his career is only begginning. This years group was filled with amazing singers and it was a hard choice. Good job Adam!! I do not know what the comments about Kiss are they are a good band and Adam rocked their songs out with them it was great, he looked to me like he was fine with them as them with him.
