Exodus Tyson, Mike Tyson‘s 4-year-old daughter, is on life support after a tragic accident in the family’s Phoenix home. “Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there’s a cord that hangs under the console — it’s kind of a loop,” said Police Sgt. Andy Hill. “Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it.” Found by her 7-year-old brother, Exodus was removed from the treadmill by her mother, who immediately called 911. She is currently listed in “extremely critical condition.”

Former heavyweight boxing champion Tyson recently raised his public profile with a critically acclaimed documentary, Tyson, and a cameo in the upcoming film comedy, The Hangover. “The Tyson family would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks for all your prayers and support,” reads a statement from Tyson. “We ask that we be allowed our privacy at this difficult time.”
