Whoever said Clay Aiken wanted to tour with Adam Lambert was wrong, wrong, wrong. The season 2 runner-up revealed to his fan club today that he is not a fan of the raven-haired shriek machine.
I only turn the show on once a season, and only to see what the set looks like each year. This year, I happened to turn it during the minute that Adam Lambert was singing “Ring of Fire” and, at that moment, thought my ears would bleed. Contrived, awful, and slightly frightening! I wasn’t really a fan and found myself surprised whenever folks told me that they liked him. Granted, I never saw another performance (and many folks who I trust said that he was great) but I can’t imagine I would have enjoyed it. Just not my cup of tea at all. To each his own.
He then went on to explain the victory of underdog Kris Allen over Lambert as “a battle between David and Goliath—my money is on David!”
Those votes for Kris were also votes to return the show to its roots of finding “real” contestants with undiscovered talent and giving them the chance to grow and shine. They were votes that said “we’re tired of seeing contestants who already seem to know it all.”
Is Clay right, or is he just sore that Glambert won’t make that album of duets?

As a guy who hooked up with Clay in a hotel room for unprotected sex, Clay Aiken has a lot of room to call someone contrived. Clay Aiken is the most manipulative, mean-spirited, fake, lying, and creepy person I have ever met.

Yea, I notice the stalker showed up. Even if the hook up story is true I think 3 1/2 years of repeating it over and over again is a little much. Seems someone is totally obsessed.

I was really surprised when Clay didn’t win and I am surprised again that Adam didn’t win. I really like them both. Clay should check out some of Adam’s other performances like Mad World or Tracks of My Tears. Ring of fire is not the best representative of his work. It made my ears bleed too! I can’t wait to see what Adam does next!!

Anyone who believed that rumor about the album duets must have never heard Clay or Adam sing. They couldn’t be any more different!

John Adam heard all about how crazy you are.. You thought you could make up stories about how you and Adam were together. They stopped you.
AI has treated Clay like crap from the beginning and I’m glad Clay is finally speaking his mind. Clay has forged out a great career for himself without one iota of help from AI.
Is Clay right ? He is neither right nor wrong . He just gave an opinion . Is he sore at Adam ? That duet tale is ridiculous . Both of these guys are talented but very different singers . Neither one of them needs the other one . They have been bloodied and bashed for who they are and what they do but both will be just fine .
