Survivor Star Released From Prison

Survivor season one winner Richard Hatch was moved to a halfway home in Pennsylvania yesterday after three years in federal prison. Hatch, found guilty of failing to report almost $1.5 million dollars in 2006—including his Survivor winnings—was originally sentenced to 51 months in prison and three years of supervised released following the sentence. He is scheduled to leave the halfway home in October.

Hatch appealed the case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, without success, arguing that CBS had promised to pay his taxes for him. He continues to maintain his innocence.

Um… yay? America’s a great country man, but you’ve got to pay taxes to keep it that way. Or they come after you. Get it?

It is so sickening to me that this (seemingly harmless) guy had to spend 3 years in prison for a non violent crime….yet they will let an aggresive DOG KILLER out after 18 months just because he knows how to throw a football!?!? WTF America??Great justice system.
