Charts, schmarts. Kris Allen arrived on Idol with little to no fanfare, and now he’s in the top 2 with chosen one Adam Lambert. Looks like Danny Gokey’s Christian television cult couldn’t make up for his tight pants and sloppy singing. What was Milwaukee’s own thinking as he pressed his finger to his lip, feigned serenity and watched his farewell reel? Probably something along the lines of “Kris Allen? Kris Allen? Are you for real? I, Danny Gokey, lost to Kris Allen?” You know it had to hurt.
Can Lambert tongue-lash the upstart out of the ring, or will Allen’s lucky streak take him all the way to the top? Only one week to go!

I can’t stand the fact that Adam may win this! I am sick and tired of hearing how he is “saving idol”. He is the stero-typical hollywood plastic . I mean I will admit it, he does have a voice and yes he can hit the high pitches. But what the heck??? Does every song need the screaming note at the end. I feel like I know what to expect everytime he sings. And American Idol just keeps making a big deal about him. I mean look during Kate Perry’s performance, “Lambert” was written across her clothing… Yeah we can tell who she’s totally supporting. Not to mention poor Danny. Lambert and Allen both had great songs picked by the judges… What the heck was Paula thinking when she picked Danny’s? I enjoy watching american idol.. but I wish they would stop pushing Lambert and let America use their own brains… wannabe star.. great singer… or all american boy great singer.. It will be interesting to see the finals

the only reason kris is going to win is because our nation is full of homophobics and close-minded people. adam is obviously the best singer and most original. oh and kris stole that version of heartless from a girl on taking the stage, a show on mtv. he is an okay singer and adam lambert is the best thing to happen to american idol…well ever.
