Oh, Amy, Amy, Amy. The more things change (swapping Camden for St Lucia, swapping Blake Incarcerated for island guys), the more things stay the same. We can’t remember the last performance that didn’t end in a slurring mess, and Amy Winehouse much-anticipated comeback gig at the St Lucia Jazz Festival was no exception.
Flashing her knickers, barely being able to stand up and stumbling across the stage was bad enough, but Amy also managed to forget the words to her songs and announce to the crowd, “I’m just kind of bored.” A power cut then briefly stopped the concert, but Amy didn’t notice and instead reportedly slumped to the floor. Shouldn’t we be encouraging her to get help instead of always bashing her? Have you no damn heart? Guess you’re just waiting until she finally dies from her addiction until you can do a nice story on how much you loved her.
I agree with the comment prior to this one. We should be praying for this woman, and lifting her up. If she always thinks she is a failure, and the world sees her as a failure, then what do you think she is going to act like…. A FAILURE. People, let’s realize that this woman is a soul, and all God’s children need some encouraging and help from time to time.
Please, let’s be real. Amy winehouse is a failure and she has no one to blame but herself. If she doesn’t want this crap (which her act definitely is now) posted, then she shouldn’t get on stage. Obviously she needs help, but coddling her isn’t going to make that happen. If she wants to die she’ll keep doing what she’s doing. Hopefully she’ll wake up soon, but showing what a mess she is isn’t going to push her over the edge. She’s already done that herself.

We should all be praying for her. The media does a real good job of putting the bad stuff on t.v. How about they try to show someone in a good light sometimes? She only does it because she gets attention stop the attention and maybe she will see herself as she is.
She is a sick woman…addiction is an illness. Bashing her makes you a coward. Would you bash a cancer paitient? No. Those who bash her know nothing about addiction. Be glad its not you. She needs tough compassion and a bunch of AA meetings! Its all a sad dimise that will only end in her death. Fame is a curse to an addict. She is powerless over drugs andI pray for her recovery.
