Meet Susan Boyle’s New TV Show Rival

Since Susan Boyle stormed the Britain’s Got Talent judges — and consequently the whole world — a few weeks back, winning the whole TV talent contest has seemed like a shoo-in. Sure, there’s been a couple of cute kids, but no one so far grabbed the public’s attention like good old Su-Bo. All that changed on Saturday night when Welsh van driver and pizza delivery man Jamie Pugh shuffled onto stage.

Almost crippled by nerves, it seemed he might not be able to even get his voice out, but he eventually did…and WOW. Singing “Bring Him Home” (what is it about Les Mis show tunes this year?), his voice was truly incredible. Could Jamie be the man to topple Susan off her winning perch?
