Evan Rachel Wood Makeover: Fab Or Fail?

It’s fitting that Evan Rachel Wood made a name for herself playing a hard-partying middle-schooler in the movie Thirteen, as the actress has always acted old for her age. Though her original look was that of a fresh-faced kid rockin’ preppy garb, she soon shifted her fashion picks so that her threads matched her reputation as “wise beyond her years.”

Her clothing choices became increasingly glamorous, gothic and gorgeous during her relationship with controversial rocker Marilyn Manson at the age of 20, and some accused The Wrestler star of mimicking his ex-wife, burlesque queen Dita Von Teese. But their break-up in 2008 did nothing to damper Evan’s dark and sexy style style (they’re currently back together), and she wowed the fashion world in a sophisticated Elie Saab gown on the red carpet at the 2009 Academy Awards.
