Mimi Wants A $125 Million Mansion

Mariah Carey is giving the recession the finger, with her interest in purchasing a $125 million mansion in Beverly Hills. The singer and her mooching hubby Nick Cannon have apparently made an offer on an estate known as Fleur de Lys, which is a 45,000 square-foot monstrosity of Italian marble, gold moldings, and limestone floors.

The home, which has been on the market for months, comes complete with 12 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, a ballroom, two kitchens, a 50-person screening room, a nine car garage and a running track. In short, in makes her Tribeca lair look like a homeless shelter. There’s no word on what they’re actually paying for their west coast home, but we have a feeling price was not an issue.
