10,000 wannabe cat-walkers went nuts at an open audition for America’s Next Top Model in NYC this weekend. Tyra’s train-wrecks freaked outside the Park Central Hotel in midtown Manhattan, after a smoking parked car sent people panicking. The crowd bolted, and the exodus spilled out into the street, breaking police barriers in the process.
Six women were injured, but will luckily recover. And while the melee was not part of the audition process, the hopefuls should get used to the chaos and drama. Besides trying to be fierce, isn’t that what Tyra’s show is about? [NYPost]

I loved the video of all this craziness so much, I blogged about it too: http://squareeyes.blinkx.com/?p=445
I’m really into the fact that it was the 5’7″ crew as opposed to the usual amazons who went nuts. Those li’l ladies are scrappy!
