Japanese People Get Confused About Irish For St. Patrick’s Day

Flicking through the somewhat bizarre sight of hundreds of Japanese people celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Tokyo, we came across two of the oddest photos ever. The first is a group of Japanese men wearing a kilt and playing bagpipes. Yes, those famous Scottish traditions that are absolutely, never, ever associated with Irish people and the Irish patron saint. Because it’s a tradition from a totally different country. The second is of a woman walking a small child with the face of a dog dressed in a tacky suit even Abba in their heyday would have rejected. On further examination we realized in actual fact it was a dog dressed up in an outfit. But the nightmares still persisted. [Photos: Splash News Online]
