A truly distressing picture of Rihanna (click here to see the photo) after the alleged attack by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown has been leaked on the internet. TMZ posted the police shot, which shows cuts, bruises and swelling on the stars’ face. Police say the marks are in accord with that of a domestic violence investigation.
While we question the motives of whoever leaked this photo (LAPD are currently launching an internal investigation to nab the culprit), it’s a shocking reminder of the brutal physical consequences of the attack. I was in an abusive marriage for over 3 years. many many broken bones, broken nose, fingers skull fracture you name it. They ALWAYS apologize and things blow over but make no mistake without counciling or some sort of psychiatric intervention they will always be abusers. MAke no mistake no matter how good and loving you are unless you are a mental health professional you will not change them. I’m glad I got out with my life because that had been what it had come to. No man or woman is ever worth your safety and health. It took me years of therapy to realize that I did not deserve this and that this was a problem within him not a problem I myself caused.
