Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston are rumored to finally be coming face to face at this year’s Night Before Party at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Although both ladies had RSVPd for the pre-Oscars bash in 2008, no showdown occurred, as Jen left the event after half an hour and Angelina and Brad Pitt never made it.
Insiders say this year might be a different story. Jen is reportedly prepared to face her ex-husband Brad’s babymomma in the flesh. “Jen has never been more ready,” a source close to the actress tells The Boston Herald. “It’s important for Jen to feel she can stack up to Angelina with her dress, her hair, and her date. And now couldn’t be better timing.”
Since Jen and Brad’s split, and Brad’s quick move to Angelina, the actresses have never come face to face. “It’s taken lots of time, but Jen’s getting past her insecurities about Brad and Angie and their huge, happy family. Though the meeting is sure to be difficult, Jen knows it has to happen sometime,” the source reveals.
If their face-to-face encounter at the party doesn’t go down, Angelina will reportedly be hard for Jen to miss at the actual Oscars ceremony on Sunday. The mother of six is reportedly shopping around for a $20-million-dollar necklace to wear to the event.
