Jill Biden Drops First Scandal Of The Obama Presidency

It didn’t take long for us to officially fall in love with Jill Biden. The teacher – who will be Mrs. Vice President in a matter of hours – appeared with her hubby Joe on the Oprah Winfrey Show yesterday, and let it slip that her man had been offered the choice between the Veep gig and Secretary of State. Say what?

The news has caused a bit of a stir on Capitol Hill, and Biden’s people have released a stern statement contradicting Jill’s tidbit: “To be clear, President-elect Obama offered Vice President-elect Biden one job only — to be his running mate. And the vice president-elect was thrilled to accept the offer.”
