Heidi Montag’s Family Upset Over Surprise Wedding

Although Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are all smiles on this week’s Us Weekly cover celebrating their surprise wedding, Heidi’s family is reportedly not as thrilled. “I am a little bit hurt,” Heidi’s sister Holly Montag said. “I want to hear what really happened. But whatever Heidi chooses, I support her. She’s my sister; I love her. I want her to be happy.” Holly said she had “no idea” they eloped. “I had a plane ride here to Toronto. I get off the plane and I have 40 texts and emails,” the Hills co-star says of how she discovered the news. She’s not the only one taken by surprise. Heidi’s mother and father are also reportedly not too happy about the sneaky Speidi nuptials. “Everybody’s pretty upset,” Holly said.

Heidi’s mother brought up other drama when Heidi gave her a call from Mexico. “I called her right before the ceremony, sort of hinted that something that happened, but her reaction was to ask me if we were breaking up! I told her it might be something else, and she said, ‘Well, if you ever plan on getting married just know that your stepdad is really upset that you want your father to walk you down the aisle,’” Heidi said. Well, Heidi’s mother now has bigger things to worry about than her husband being upset that Heidi would choose her biological father over him: her daughter is now Mrs. Spencer Pratt!

Heidi’s biological father had not even heard the news when reports started surfacing on Monday. “I would be upset if she got married and didn’t invite me!” Bill Montag said.
