Jack Black Falls At “Get Out The Vote” Concert

Tenacious D, opening a “Get Out The Vote” concert for The Beastie Boys in Milwaukee Sunday night, decided to warm up the crowd by asking how the Packers had done in the overtime game last night (they lost). Following the boos, singer Jack Black pranced across the stage to “The Government Totally Sucks.” Lifting his shirt as he sang “Ben Franklin was a rebel, indeed. He liked to get naked…”, Black tripped on the stairs, pausing for a second before announcing “I’M OK!” and amending the lyric to “Ben Franklin was a rebel, indeed. I’m never going over there, I f*cking almost broke my knee.”

Dissing the Packers and the government in Wisconsin right before election day? Karmically, that trip was bound to happen. It’s about hope, Jack!
