Meg Ryan’s ex-husband Dennis Quaid made it clear this week he’s not her greatest fan ever, and now normally mild-mannered British star Michael Parkinson has waded into the fray. The legendary chat show host had a notoriously disastrous interview with Meg in 2003, and in his new autobiography firmly lays the blame at her moody-ass door.
“She was uncooperative from the start. One reviewer said she “glided from slight frostiness to naked hostility via snooty disdain,” he writes. “There comes a point in an interview where it serves no purpose to continue. The only question left is: ‘Why did you bother turning up and then not trying?’ She seemed as if she had been beamed into the show from another universe.”

I think the problem here is just that the topic was too heated and heavy for this type of show. I don’t think she was snooty, I just think the average joe wants to hear gossip, not analysis and interpretation of philosophical subjects.
Meg Ryan never said that about him. That quote is a fake and you may want to take it down. And it’s funny but most people who have seen the whole interview online side with her, not with him.

Meg Ryan was nasty and rude from the beginning. I don’t see what you people think was so damn wrong about Parkinson’s approach! He is exactly the same with every other star on his show, and he has interviewed the biggest of them.
Watched both clips and Meg Ryan handled herself very well during the interview. Parkinson was the one being rude and it was like he was trying to get negative responses from her. I dont think she took the bait as much as she could have.
