At 11:53PM last night a private Learjet carrying Travis Barker and DJ AM crashed while taking off in Columbia, South Carolina. The plane, which was supposed to travel to Van Nuys, California, overran the runway, broke through a fence, and crossed a highway before colliding with a shoulder alongside the road. A driver who witnessed the crash said the plane looked like a fireball as it crossed the highway. Barker and DJ AM were admitted to the Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia in critical condition, while four other people on board were killed including pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, co-pilot James Bland, 52, Chris Baker, 29, and Charles Still, 25.

i just want to say my condoleses and prayers goes out to the victims and their family i my self and going through a tuff time and i hope everyone can over come this incident.
HEy, hope Barker and DJ Am are alright. Both of you are in my prays and hope that you both will recover and get back to life and what you’ll do and thats music and get back to your families. this is really bad news. i cant believe this happened t these cats as things are about to pop right now for them. horrible timing man. i was in a plane crash and survived myself so i know that they gwon be alright. my prayers go out to them.
i can’t understand why something like this could happen to two of americas brightest stars. these two have brought so much inspiration two americas youth that they deserve so much better. my prayers go out to their familys and i hope they will be ok. once again a very sad day for america s these two are so important in whats going on in todays music and political scene. i know they will be ok. i dont see music staying as good as it is if anything bas were to happen to these two music giants.

OMG. I just saw the story on the news and my prays go out for both Travis and DJ Am. I hope their injuries are not that serious. I am also sorry for the other people onboard that passed away . I don’t think those small jets that clebs use are safe or they are not hiring the right people to pilot these jets because you hear of too many incidents involving them.
Tf we were to lose Travis Barker to a plane crash we would be losing one of the great musical inspirations of our time. But possibly one of the best drummers of all time. In my eyes he has shown time and time again that he can’t play any style of music, and constantly re-invent himself. My heart and prayers go out to to Travis and his family. I wish you all the best and i hope to see Travis drumming again in the not too distant future.

What the heck happened? Pilot error or what? This is so sad. My prayers go out to the victims and their families and may Travis and DJ AM have a speedy recovery.
Prayers go out to the family that lost they loved one and that loved one still are critical. May God pull them through and lift those up that are hurt and feeling down. Travis and DJ AM are in my family prayers.

The music world is gratefull and sad today. I’m sorry for the victims family on their loss on Friday. Travis Barker is a living legend to me. He is the best drummer in my opinion. Lars has nothing on travis. He has shown us time after time that he can play with any artist there is. He is amazing and i’m looking forward to see him come back and rock our world. My Prayers r with u and all the victim’s loved one’s. This is an example of live life today not tomarrow.

I stay in Augusta Ga, and my friend works sercurity there at the burn unit. they say losts of supports are there wishing them well. Its all over our newspapers and our local news. I pray they get well and that God pulls them through, our burn unit here in Augusta is known nation wide, so the two of them are in very good hands. i love Travis, just the way he plays the drums is amazing and if you watch the VMA’s you know what I mean when i say that Man can play the drums. i here that walt disney is buying mavel i see walt is back to his old tricks. so dj am could not take watching his girls on this roller coaster ride one more time? we know the park can be used for other things because we are the ones who have to stop disney. dj am got some children here for nicole and was working on others i see?. it proble was to hard for him to watch another jerk from a ride these girls were on the look on there faces ,the pain in there eyes? i am dealing with it myself. they knew to take them to parks and how to use the rides. watch out for chris and there mothers.we are not going to take care of those men because we are the same race. it is over walt disney we are not coming after you again. the make-up in my eyes that chris can use it is going to take us some time to stop you you figure? no we are not coming walt ,it is over. the plan , a roller coaster ride you see? the girls must of held on to him, they loved him.
