John Mayer Hearts The Paparazzi

Amid rumors that John Mayer is back with ex-girlfriend Maria Marin, the singer went to his favorite see-and-be-seen downtown Manhattan hot spot, La Esquina, on Saturday night and enjoyed a late night dinner with a petite blonde. John arrived around 11:30 pm, wearing his signature hoodie and jeans. He walked over to his date who had been standing by the bar waiting and gave her a huge hug. They then took a table near the bar and John put his arm around her and texted on his cell phone while they lingered over their dinner until almost 1 am.

John certainly likes paparazzi-favorite La Esquina, even for an intimate date. Could Jennifer Aniston’s pal have been onto something when she claimed that John is just an attention whore? In August, a friend of Jennifer’s told msnbc.com, that, “He has a relationship with certain paparazzi (and) bloggers. He tips them off. He loves the attention. Jen didn’t want to believe it was happening, but it was, and she has no tolerance for that.”
